Day 2 of Blogtober and I’m 2 for 2! Let’s see how far we get into the month. We changed over to Daylight Savings time in the wee hours of the morning and we’ve managed to get quite a bit of sunshine today. We’ve had a cool change and I think we’re just coming out of it. I also got out for a walk today to enjoy a taste of Spring.

I’ve had the Cielo pattern from Closet Core Patterns for over a year now and I finally got to cut it out. I was planning on taking it to Sydney with me for a girls’ weekend recently but it turned out a little bit big. I didn’t hurry to finish it off for that reason but also because the weather was going to be cold and raining. Because of the size of the sleeves, it’s not a top that you can easily cover with a jacket or cardigan and the linen would crush too much. I think I’ll be able to get away with it being the size it is so I’ll take it out for a test run soon. The fabric is a linen/cotton blend from Spotlight.

I even remembered to add a label this time!
