Just a quick blog today as I’ve been out and about in Sydney. I’m eagerly awaiting the first clue of the Twists and Turns MKAL by Stephen West (Westknits). This is my sixth time participating in the annual mystery knitalongs and I wouldn’t miss it for the world. Clue number one is due to drop on 6th October (tomorrow) but that is Amsterdam time so it won’t be in my inbox until after bedtime. I’ll be ready to get started first thing on Friday. There are four clues, dropping weekly. From previous experience, I know I will take probably two weeks to complete each of the clues.

And this is the yarn I’m going to use for this year’s MKAL. I’m using Knitpicks Capretta yarn which is 80% merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon. The colourways are: brown = caviar, beige = platinum, mint = sagebrush. I’ve had this yarn for several years now so I decided it was time to use it. I have thought about using more neutrals for these MKALs and have seen many that look great. Watch this space for MKAL updates. 😊 The current weather is very conducive to knitting!
Thanks for joining me today. I hope to see you again tomorrow!
